Crosslinks has set up a local office in Chandikhole area of Badchana block to support its field activities in the area. Crosslinks is currently working with its partners in 14 villages of the block to motivate paddy farmers to incorporate their crop residues in the soil by using a rotavator to improve soil health and crop productivity. The current practice of stubble burning, which is prevalent in many parts of the country including Odisha, not only leads to serious air pollution but also damages soil fertility in the long-run.
