Crosslinks Foundation is delighted to announce that its paper on InterGram initiative has been selected for presentation by IAMCR’s (International Association for Media and Communication Research) Rural Communication Working Group (RUC). The RUC working group provides a platform for scholars and practitioners working in the field of rural communication and its focus encompasses a broad understanding of the use of ICTs, agricultural extension services, rural radios, SMS and other channels to improve access to rural telecommunications infrastructures. Operating in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the RUC leads research into rural communication for development and social change tackling critical problems related to agriculture, food, health and the environment in rural areas.
